Gabriel Amram
Technology and engineering leader combining deep technical understanding, product strategy, people development and organizational design.
Profile
Technology, product and people - not as separate domains, but as a single discipline. I am a builder: of products, platforms, organizations and the leaders who run them - grounded in technical depth, shaped by product thinking and connected to business outcomes.
More than 20 years of experience as a founder, CTO and engineering group lead, across startups and a large public technology company.
With a track record of identifying technology inflection points early and moving production systems into new paradigms before they become established practice.
Leadership areas
Technology & AI
Distributed systems, platform engineering, scalable architectures and AI-native software design - approached with a product lens, not just a technical one.
Product & Strategy
Product strategy, platform-as-a-product, technical vision, roadmap steering, developer experience and connecting technology investments to customer and business outcomes.
People & Organizations
Building and restructuring organizations, developing engineering leaders, mentoring managers and senior engineers, and leading distributed teams.
Experience
monday.com
Lead engineering groups spanning customer-facing products and core platform infrastructure, combining technical strategy, product thinking, organizational design and leadership development.
Server Foundation, Core Engineering · 2026–Present
- Lead foundational engineering across authorization, service architecture and application-level infrastructure.
- Initiated and lead mondayCore, an AI-ready service platform that allows engineers and coding agents to focus on business logic, while the platform handles all non-functional requirements, such as infrastructure communication, resilience, policy enforcement and deployment concerns.
- Lead the modernization of monday.com’s authorization architecture toward a graph-based model designed for greater performance, resilience and scale.
- Led async communications infrastructure - including event-driven patterns, Kafka-based messaging and the reporter service - as a core part of the application-level infrastructure mandate.
- Drove a mindset shift across the group: platform engineering approached and measured as product engineering, aligning developer experience with company-wide goals for velocity, reliability, platform autonomy and cost efficiency.
- Define group structure and ownership around evolving company-level technical missions.
Ecosystem Products · 2024–2026
- Led engineering for WorkForms, WorkDocs and Knowledge across Tel Aviv and London.
- Defined and led WorkForms' modernization strategy across three pillars: platform independence (forms stay up when monday goes down, and can't bring monday down), feature competitiveness with dedicated forms products, and tighter ecosystem cohesion with monday's main products.
- Executed by tying migration milestones to ongoing feature delivery rather than treating them as competing tracks - unlocking 100x scale, independent deployment and meaningful growth in active adoption among large enterprise accounts.
- Built and developed the WorkDocs and Knowledge engineering teams. Drove meaningful performance improvements and increased active adoption across pro and enterprise tiers. Pushed both products toward AI-native capabilities, establishing agentic practices as a core part of how the teams build and ship.
- Pioneered AI-native product capabilities across both products at a time when agentic features were nascent at monday.com, drawing on prior hands-on experience building LLM agents.
- Led all teams to adopt agentic development practices across the full software lifecycle - from planning and implementation to review and operation.
- Developed engineering leaders and reshaped teams as product and organizational priorities evolved.
Brew
Co-founded and built an AI-powered strategic marketing platform, raising a $12M seed round and growing to 50+ people.
- Built and led an R&D organization of ~25 engineers, data scientists, architects and technical leaders.
- Defined technical strategy and translated business objectives into architecture, organization and execution plans.
- Developed managers and technical leaders through delegation, mentoring, growth planning and clear ownership.
- Built a competitive intelligence platform combining large-scale crawlers, NLP extraction and a contextual graph - enabling non-obvious insights into company marketing activity, target audiences and competitive positioning across markets.
- Spearheaded one of the earliest production marketing strategy agents in late 2022, before the current agentic tooling was mature - designing orchestrator architecture, multi-tenant data isolation and chain-of-thought caching from first principles. Required shifting leadership and all of R&D to embrace LLMs before it was obvious.
- Partnered with product, sales, customer success and company leadership to shape product and business strategy.
EverThere, formerly Zoliro
- Built the company’s product and engineering capabilities from inception.
- The company's IP was acquired by one of its customers. Developed an AI-powered system matching conferences with relevant advertisers - at a time when AI-powered matching was far from standard practice. Created a core source of customer and business value and grew to hundreds of customers with strong recurring engagement.
- Designed systems for scalability, performance and data integrity.
- Worked with product, sales and customer-facing teams to translate market needs into product direction.
- Built and led teams across backend, frontend, data and infrastructure.
